Kaupapa Māori Health, Mental Health and Social Services
Are you experiencing issues affecting your mental health? Or does someone in your whānau need help?
Our experienced team support whānau to get well, stay well, live well, to reach for the stars and beyond. As a kaupapa Māori provider, we combine clinical, cultural and community support into services that embrace the Māori view of wellbeing.
We offer a range of services at no cost for all ages including:
Te Kākano Hauora (previously Whānau Ora Community Support)
Whānau centred community support assisting those affected by mental health challenges to achieve independence.
Te Oranga Activities
Weekly programmes to improve the wellbeing of whānau affected by mental health challenges.
Te Oriori
Education and support for parents/caregivers with a focus on infant and child mental health.
Te Hā Waitaha – Stop Smoking Canterbury
Purapura Whetu work alongside Te Hā Waitaha - Stop Smoking Canterbury to promote smoke-free whānau.
Manu Ka Rere
Assessment, treatment and support for rangatahi (13-24) who may be facing mental health and/or drug and alcohol issues.
Transition to Adulthood
Support service for young people in their transition from the care or youth justice system to adulthood.
Whānau Ora Navigator
Supporting whānau to achieve their aspirations, including goal setting and helping to connect them with other services.
Te Māhuri
Adventure therapy program for rangatahi to experience the outdoors and develop a connection to themselves and their peers within a whānau environment.
Mana Ake
Early intervention and support for teachers, families and whānau when children are experiencing ongoing issues that impact their wellbeing.
Te Whiri Ora
A coordination service that supports agencies to work together with tamariki, rangatahi and whānau to achieve their aspirations.
